YouOnCam is part of
the Cameraware Network. Cameraware is a 100% FREE way to
broadcast your image to this and hundreds of other sites.
YouOnCam is an open community. This means that
you can view all of the cams in the network that do not limit
their images to a specific site. Many of the people that you
will find in the viewer menu are not in our chatroom, but often
will have their location listed with their cam. A complete list
of Cameraware communities is available HERE.

Due
to recent frequent Denial Of Service attacks
against our chat server our provider has had to
shut off access to stand alone IRC applications.
For now our chat room can only be accessed via
our web site through the Java applets.
Because of these attacks our provider is also
trying to become a "moving target" by
changing their I.P. address frequently. This
causes the chat applets used in our multiple cam
chat rooms not to function periodically. If you
experience difficulty with those chat room
options please try THE
ONE CAM AND CHAT OPTION which is
accessable by the links above. These applets use
a different code which can "follow"
the chat server's new address.
If you are on
camera when you enter our chat room please
request "GREEN" so that the
others in the room will know to look for you.
Everyone
wants to know where you are! While you are
visiting us please broadcast "YouOnCam"
as your community.
Our
chat room can be accessed via your favorite IRC
software.

chat room is generally moderated and we have
certain rules that you must follow if you wish
